My Dead Bones Live This week I witnessed an army of dry bones live. Youth, staff and church leadership from several churches, cities, states and denominations came together in one mind, one heart, one spirit and one voice to proclaim Christ is Lord over our lives, our families and our communities.
I never imagined that I would see such hunger,...
Where the Spirit of the Lord is As I seek clarity for the final service of this camp, I am reflecting on all God has done this week in the lives of these campers and staff. Last night we were in service for 6 hours. That's right 6 hours.
The Spirit of the Lord moved on the place and we witnessed God heal family relationships, deliver youth and adults...
Not of this World This is day 3 of camp, and I am filled with excitement and expectancy. The last 2 nights were amazing and God met the students here.
Sunday night, I spoke on breathing the promises and calls of past camps and encounters with the Lord. Then the team ministered to every youth and adult who believed they are called into ministry....
Back at Camp I arrived here in Missouri and immediately was filled with excitement, not just at the privilege to be here and reconnect with good friends, but at what I believe God is going to do this week. It been a few years since I was at youth camp, so I came up a day early to acclimate and work through any anxieties before the week...
The drought is over - July 2010 Update We may never understand all God's ways, purposes and dealings with us in this life; however, we will definitely see, feel and taste the results of His hand. The key is what posture will we take when Father is leading us through the valley or desert, in times of famine or drought? Will we react, most likely, or will we respond,...
This is a quick update on Kenya. We are 10 days away from departure and I can hardly believe I am going back after 4 1/2 years. My heart for missions was placed on the back burner and now it is getting ready to kick into after burner. I am so thankful you have decided to join us in prayer and support.
I somehow misplaced my shot record over the past 6 weeks and was looking at having to take all my shots over. Thank goodness the yellow fever and typhoid vaccinations are controlled, so the clinic in Austin is reissuing my shot record for $5. That’s a lot better than $500.
In addition to prayer support, it’s not too late to support our trip financially. We can always use the extra funds to help plant and build churches, as well as meet the needs of the people we will come in contact with. No amount is too little or small, God will use all for His glory and advance His Kingdom.
Be sure to keep an eye on this page, my personal page, main site or twitter for updates about our journey. I will attempt to post daily, but at least every couple days. This may be my last update between now and when I return, so until then be encouraged and blessed in the Lord.
Humbly,
James

Speaking at one of the morning sessions on my last trip. "Run Your Race"
I didn’t realize my passport expired in February 2009. Has it been 10 years already. My renewed passport arrived in the mail. I am so excited and one step closer to this trip. Next step is checking on my shots.
We will be flying out November 29 and returning December 10. We will fly into Nairobi, Kenya, and then take a very long taxi, Matatu, ride to Eldoret. We will be ministering at Mount Zion Church. Our gracious host Pastor Lawrence Otineo has opened this door of opportunity to come minister in his church and community. Stay tuned for more updates.
Join us in this venture by investing in prayer and provision.
This is just a quick update. I am excited to announce that I am itinerating and raising funds to travel to Kenya for 10-12 days. I will be partnering with Jim White, Destiny Uth Ministries, to encourage, coach and train young pastors in spiritual and ministry leadership. We are finalizing our travel arrangements for the end of November, beginning of December. I welcome you to partner with us on this endeavor.
First, we need your prayers. Our world is very volatile and even more so when you are advancing the Kingdom of God. Please partner to pray for our brothers and sisters in Kenya who are eagerly awaiting our arrival. Agree with us for God’s will to be done, the power of the Holy Spirit be revealed and lives changed for Christ. Cover our team, which is currently Jim and me, with prayers of favor, protection and influence. Finally, believe with us for all provisions and budgets to be met.
